16 Mass grave, ISIS Massacre Victims Found in Iraq - A total of 16 mass graves found in Sinjar, north of Iraq, since the city was captured from the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS). Said human rights monitors (HAM) of the United Nations (UN), on Friday.

The mass graves show more detail serious human rights violations carried out the extremist group.

UN human rights monitors, also said the civilians were abducted, burned and beheaded in the territories controlled by ISIS.

"We received a report that 16 mass graves containing people killed by ISIS was found in Sinjar," said Cecile Pouilly, a spokesman for the UN Human Rights Council.

However, it is not clear how many bodies were in the graves. ISIS master Sinjar August 2014 and conducted a campaign of brutal massacres, slavery, and rape, targeting minority Yazidis. The UN describes the attack against the Yazidis were considered heretical by ISIS as genocide.
