In one study, people who spend their money on something that suited his personality, have higher life satisfaction than people who spend money on something that is not right.

"Historically, research shows that a weak link between money and happiness. But it depends on how we spend our money," said Joe Gladstone, head of research.

Gladstone perform an analysis of 76,000 transactions of purchase of 625 people, within the last 6 months. Transactions are grouped into several categories based on the suitability of with one's personality.

For example, spending eating at restaurants or cafes are closely linked with the extroverted personality (people who love to hang out). While expenditure involving charities and pets, is associated with a loving and friendly personality.

Then, those people do personality tests and life satisfaction surveys. Another experiment was also conducted to prove this theory. For example, extroverts were given a gift card to use at the bar, and as a result they feel happier. Meanwhile, the introverts feel more happy if given a shopping card at the bookstore.

In other words, money can indeed bring happiness if we use it to buy something right and appropriate our interest.
